1. Introduction

Clipwise (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what personal data we collect when you use clipwise.app, how we process it, and what rights you have. By using the service you agree to this Policy.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data: email, name, encrypted password.
  • Usage data: number of trend searches, video analyses, AI marketer chats.
  • Uploaded content: videos you submit for analysis (stored up to 30 days).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, OS, authentication cookies.
  • Payment data: handled by third-party processors (Stripe/Fondy); we do not store card details.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To deliver the service: video analysis, TikTok trend search, AI consulting.
  • To prevent abuse: rate-limiting, detecting suspicious activity.
  • To improve the product: anonymous feature-usage analytics.
  • To contact you: email confirmation, support replies.

4. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted partners. Your data is shared only to the extent necessary for feature delivery:

  • Supabase — database storage and authentication (GDPR-compliant).
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI marketer and content analysis.
  • Google (Gemini) — uploaded video analysis.
  • Apify — public TikTok video search.
  • Vercel — hosting.
  • Upstash — rate limiting.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies for authentication and saving your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data — while you use the service + 30 days after account deletion.
  • Uploaded videos — up to 30 days after analysis, then automatically deleted.
  • Logs and analytics — 90 days.
  • Payment records — 3 years (legal requirement).

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable law you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of your data.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Export your data to another service.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, password hashing (bcrypt), database-level Row-Level Security, rate limiting, and Content Security Policy. Despite our measures, no method of transmission is 100% secure.

9. Minors

The service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a site banner.
